The "Jedi killer" was a droid that attacked and killed a number of Jedi on Cularin. It was eventually stopped by the Jedi, although the ensuing battle leveled buildings and destroyed city blocks in Hedrett, including some of its sewers.
Devan For'deschel was injured fighting it. Minos Fel'Kona thought it sounded similar to General Grievous.
