Jabiim Congress

The Jabiim Congress, also known as the Jabiim Council, was the primary governmental body of the planet Jabiim that supported the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars, it became influenced by Separatist sympathizers such as Alto Stratus, as well as their money, pushing Jabiim to join the Confederacy.

At some point, a Jabiimite Spokesbeing Alto Stratus executed almost all of the Congressional Jabiimi Loyalists. Orliss Gillmunn was one of the few to escape. Later, Stratus made a speech to the Jabiim Congress that rebuffed appeals from the Galactic Republic in the Caucus Chambers. The speech was later recorded in a HoloNet News Core Edition report on the situation on Handooine and Jabiim. After the Clone Wars ended, the congress splintered.
