J. M. Meulenhoff

Uitgeverij J. M. Meulenhoff, Inc. (*M=sfX), known simply as J. M. Meulenhoff and Meulenhoff, is an Amsterdam-based publishing company founded on September 15, 1895 by Johannes Marius Meulenhoff.

J. M. Meulenhoff publishes Dutch and foreign translations of novels, poetry, essays, and non-fiction. The company was responsible for printing the Dutch translations of Star Wars novels after A. W. Bruna stopped publishing them. In 2002, the crime, science-fiction, and fantasy sections of Meulenhoff joined with the science-fiction and fantasy section of Het Spectrum to form Uitgeverij M, which took over the printing of the Star Wars titles.
