The Ithorians referred to the starships that docked aboard and remained with the herd ship for a time as Ph'thwyll, a type of fungus that attached itself to the seedpods of the Johinuu tree. This name was only used privately among fellow Ithorians.
An Ithorian city of Dewbright on the planet Auratera was located above the surface of the world on elevated platforms similar to the tradition of Ithorian herd ships.
