Investigations was first mentioned in canon in Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know. It made its first appearance in the Andor episode "Aldhani," but the ISB branch seen was not confirmed to be Investigations until the release of Star Wars: Dawn of Rebellion: The Visual Guide, which confirmed Meero had transferred into Investigations after her time in Enforcement: in "Aldhani," it is noted Meero served with Enforcement before transferring into her current branch, thereby confirming the branch is Investigatins when Dawn of Rebellion is taken into account.
