The Interpreter welcomed Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn to Jabba's dwelling after he unwittingly became trapped in his arena. He explained Jabba's offer of 50 peggats in exchange for Jinn's fight against Jabba's champion. Jinn refused, but was given no choice, as the Champion was immediately let loose on the Jedi, who dispatched of it with his lightsaber.
Afterwards, the Interpreter gave Jabba's thanks to Jinn upon his return to the box. The Interpreter was not present when Jabba gave the opening ceremony for the Boonta Eve Classic later.
