Interceptor Five was a squadron of starfighters assigned to the Endurance-class fleet carrier Intrepid of the New Republic Defense Fleet Fifth Battle Group.
Immediately prior to the Battle of Doornik-319, Interceptor Five was one of the squadrons prepared for immediate launch aboard the Intrepid, and when the Intrepid entered the system, Interceptor Five was part of the fleet carrier's fighter screen.
