Interactive hologram

Interactive holograms, also known as gatekeepers were an artificial intelligence that granted a user access to the information contained within a holocron. They typically took the form of whoever recorded the information in the first place. One such hologram, based on the appearance of Avar Kriss, a Jedi Master of the High Republic Era, was featured in a holocron that ended up in the hands of Luke Skywalker. When Hennix, one of Skywalker's students, opened the holocron, the interactive hologram greeted him and offered to guide him on his way.
