Shaped like an inverted cone, the station spanned about 1,000 meters from point to base. It contained at least one docking bay, and sported capacity for dozens of hyperspace capable escape pods.
In 22 BBY, Aristocra Sev'eere'nuruodo of the Nuruodo family met Kung'urama'nuruodo, an ambassador of the Galactic Republic, onboard. During their meeting, Ifpe'a was attacked by a CIS fleet under the command of overseer Umbrag. While the Aristocra and the ambassador escaped with the Hasty Harpy, the station could not resist and was captured by Separatist forces.
At the behest of Count Dooku, Umbrag dispatched his armada back to Skako, leaving the overseer's personal Metalorn Yacht as the captive installation's sole defense. The lone vessel was easily overpowered by the Black Hole Gang when they returned with the Harpy, forcing Umbrag to retreat. Ifpe'a was reclaimed by a flotilla of Chiss warships immediately following the skirmish.
