The Humiliation of Barkhesh was a Galactic Civil War engagement on the planet Barkhesh between the Galactic Empire and Rebel Alliance sometime before the Battle of Yavin. According to Imperial Army High General Cassio Tagge in contributing to the Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide, the 1st Tapani Assault Battlegroup triumphed in the battle, a claim later refuted by Rebel General Carlist Rieekan.
