Howlers were also ridden by a group of bandits that resided on Peridea. These bandits rode the creatures into battle when they attacked Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, and a group of Noti nomads.
Howlers seemingly exhibited extreme loyalty, with one refusing to part with Sabine Wren, despite her scolding it and insisting it leave her alone. They would also display signs of aggression, becoming agitated towards unfamiliar beings. This behavior frightened members of the Noti species, who shared a homeworld with the howlers.
