In 1 ABY, a mercenary working for the Azure Cabal was sent by Propti Xaroon to search and retrieve her belongings that had been stolen by Hoverdale years earlier. The mercenary entered the bandits' cave and killed several of the bandits before one of them revealed where Xaroon's belongings could be found.
But before the mercenary could take Xaroon's pouch, Hoverdale discovered the intruder and attacked. A fight ensued in which Hoverdale was killed.
The Hoverdale bandits were a criminal group in Sony Online Entertainment's MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. They were added to the game with Chapter 6: Dangers of the Wild in May 2007.
During a quest for the NPC Propti Xaroon, the player had to enter their cave and kill bandits until a clue to the location of Xaroon's pouch was found. If the player took too long to get the pouch after getting the clue, Hoverdale sent the player a warning. A short time after this warning, Hoverdale appeared near the player and attacked. If the player was quick, it was possible to complete the quest without having to fight and kill Hoverdale.
