The hospital module was a Mission Function Module designed to be used with the modular taskforce cruiser. It was intended for use during planetary disasters, anti-terrorist clean up operations, and space battle recovery. The module was tasked to deal with emergencies ranging from combat injuries to radiation leaks. It was staffed by 225 doctors, 400 nurses, 1,500 emergency medical technicians, and 1,000 medical droids. The hospital module could care for 2,750 patients in bacta tanks, 1,000 patients in quarantine, and 19,600 in general wards. It could carry 5,000 metric tons of cargo, including thousands of medpacs and repulsorlift stretchers, and five shuttles. The module cost 750,000 credits.
