Hornagaunt

Hornagaunts had a monstrous appearance had acute smelling and produced growling or purring sounds, either to express pleasure, or alertness. They have an underthrust jaw and big eye-lids. At least some had glowing red eyes. When in comfort, or in inquiring mood, they struck their stubby tail on the ground.
