The Hoopaloo professor Re-Bec Arclarka taught at the Lerct Historical Institute during the days of the New Republic, where he mentored the human Beaumont Kin. He was generally respected at Lerct, though at least one individual, Mico Haswell, felt personally offended that a Hoopaloo had been granted the position of professor, considering Arclarka's hiring to be an attempt of the administration to meet a quota.
