Homing droid

Homing droids were small, fifth-degree droids used as mobile tracking devices originally developed by spy agencies.

Homing droids were primarily vehicles used to plant homing beacons on targets, though some models doubled as a homing device themselves. Commonly fitted with repulsorlifts, homing droids were difficult to track, due to their ability to stay mobile and avoid detection. Some were fitted with defensive measures and self-destruct functions.
