During the visit of Nil Spaar to Coruscant in 16 ABY, Hodidiji was convinced by Senators Tig Peramis and Cian Marook to support the Yevethan Viceroy. When talks with Chief of State Leia Organa Solo failed and Nil Spaar fled the planet, Hodidiji yielded his time on the Senator floor to both Peramis and Nil Spaar. The latter used his time to spread lies and misinformation about Organa Solo's intentions, while distracting the New Republic from the xenocidal purge occurring in the Koornacht Cluster.
