Hawkeye was a clone trooper that served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Hawkeye joined Jedi General Mace Windu, Clone Commander Ponds and Trapper on Malastare, where they encountered the Zillo Beast. As the Republic soldiers tried to escape, Hawkeye was trampled to death by the creature. The others managed to escape, however.
Hawkeye first appeared in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode "The Zillo Beast." Like all clone troopers in the series, he was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker. The name "Hawkeye" is a reference to the character Benjamin "Hawkeye" Pierce from the television series M*A*S*H.
