During the Galactic Civil War, the planetoid Haven served as the site of the Rebel Alliance's primary resistance center in the Minos Cluster. In 3 ABY, shortly after the Battle of Hoth, the Alliance Fleet regrouped at a rendezvous point in the Haven system. Following his duel with Darth Vader on Bespin, Luke Skywalker received his prosthetic hand while in orbit of the planetoid Haven.
