A Harris wrench was a type of wrench used on starships. Following their escape from Jakku, Finn and Rey used a Harris wrench when patching a poisonous gas leak. Rose Tico was skilled with this tool.
The Harris wrench was first mentioned in Chuck Wendig's 2015 novel Aftermath and made its first appearance in later that year. The tool is named after The Force Awakens's art director Mark Harris.
