Hangar Bay Five was a hangar located on the Galactic Republic space station Starlight Beacon. In 231 BBY, after Starlight Marshal Avar Kriss requested each Jedi stationed on the station depart to assist her in battle against the carnivorous plants known as the Drengir on the Galactic Frontier planet Daivak, Jedi Master Estala Maru and Jedi archivist OrbaLin left for the hangar. En route, Maru contacted Jedi Knight Keeve Trennis and told her to meet him at Hangar Bay Five.
As Maru and OrbaLin entered a T-1 shuttle inside the hangar, Kriss questioned if Trennis was with them. In response, Maru informed the marshal she should be on her way and asked why. After Kriss replied that she could hear the Knight's song in the Force within the Drengir, the two rushed to a room and discovered that Trennis had been infected by the Drengir. By 230 BBY, the hangar had been destroyed when the entire station was destroyed by the Nihil pirates.
