In 9 BBY, they collaborated with Estree as part of a scam in which the con-man pretended to use a Jedi mind trick on the contact, who then allowed Estree's clients safe passage off-world. The contact allowed the young boy Corran and his mother to pass through Gate 3-C at the spaceport, which was operated by the contact.
