A prison was located on Gulhadar, a prison planet under the control of the Benelex Marshal Service. Between around 8 BBY and 2 BBY, prisoners included the pirate Maz Kanata, Doctor Cornelius Evazan, and Ponda Baba. After being captured by Marshal Buck Vancto on Paqualis III, the Wookiee Chewbacca was imprisoned at the prison and placed in a cell with Kanata. Sometime later, Chewbacca escaped the prison.
