A Munificent-class star frigate was utilized by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. Following the war, the Munificent-class star frigate was left as a derelict. The frigate was eventually discovered by the pirate leader Gruk, who took command of the starship and redecorated it, using it as a base of operations in the Lost Clusters. The crew of the pirate Sidon Ithano eventually became aware of the frigate's existence, wishing to utilize it to track down other surviving Separatist vessels. Ithano and his crew undertook a plan that involved his first mate, Quiggold, being captured by Gruk's pirates and brought aboard the frigate. The crew's mechanic, Reveth, followed a beacon that Quiggold had on him to Gruk's vessel, covertly boarding the frigate and hijacking its systems. At the same time, the former clone trooper Kix fought his way through Gruk's forces until the pirate leader was left cornered aboard the bridge. Ithano's crew took control of the frigate and brought it to the asteroid fortress of Meerou Woodring, which Ithano himself had captured with the help of crew member Squeaky and Woodring's Gamorrean slaves. Reveth used the asteroid fortress to boost the frigate's hyperwave scanner in order to locate other Separatist derelicts.
