At the groves, Ghenli and his friends confronted Vroma about stealing another berry, but Vroma told him the Grove Guardians would not be happy. Ghenli did not believe in the guardians and chased Vroma throughout the grove. During the chase, Ghenli's friends were picked off until he wondered where they went. Vroma said she tried to warn him but now the Grove Guardians were angry. A large figure appeared from the forest named the "Guardian of the Groves." The figure grabbed Ghenli and opened its big mouth to reveal its sharp teeth. Ghenli promised to never steal from Vroma again and ran off. Lompop then closed her mouth and left the groves with Vroma.
