A depot was maintained by the Galactic Empire on Gromas which included refueling facilities about five years after the end of the Clone Wars. Since the Imperial Joint Chiefs believed that it may be a target of Berch Teller and his rebel group, they sent a task force to defend the facility at Gromas. The rebels heard about the deployment and went to Phindar instead.
