Grand Marshal

During the New Republic era, First Order General Armitage Hux desired to be a Grand Marshal, given that his authority effectively exceeded his rank in the First Order at the time. Supreme Leader Snoke, however, refused to grant Hux the title.

Within the reserves of the First Order was a rank titled "Allegiant General," which was akin to Grand Marshal as the rank allowed the individual to command ground and space forces. By 35 ABY, when Allegiant General Enric Pryde of the second wave of First Order leadership came to the fore of First Order High Command after being uncovered by the Supreme Leader ascendant Kylo Ren, Hux no longer sought the title of Grand Marshal, instead focusing his powers on vengeance against Ren.
