Gra Ploven was the homeworld of the aquatic species Ploven.
The planet fell within the priority sector of Grand Moff Dureya under the reign of the Galactic Empire. Around the time of the Battle of Endor, the inhabitants rebelled against the Empire. When they refused to make the expected contribution to the Galactic Empire's war effort, 200,000 of the native Ploven were boiled alive when the Star Destroyer Forger carried out a punitive orbital bombardment of the seas around their coastal cities.
