Genzhor was a humanoid male doctor who was an expert on sarlaccs. He worked in the preserve on the planet I'vorcia Prime with his assistant Ooris. Ooris, intending to steal frozen sarlacc spores and escape I'vorcia Prime, betrayed Genzhor, resulting in the doctor's death in the sarlacc pit of his research outpost. The smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca, who had been sent by the collector Dok-Ondar to meet with Genzhor and acquire baby sarlaccs, were similarly betrayed by Ooris, who attempted to steal their ship, the Millennium Falcon. After being thrown into the sarlacc enclosure by Ooris, Solo took a stun stick from next to Doctor Genzhor's body.
