Geng Salaban was a male Human and commander of the Quasar Fire-class bulk cruiser Battle Dog, which served in Group Two of the Solo Fleet during the hunt for Warlord Zsinj. Later, Salaban was given the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Allegiance as his command.
As commander of the Allegiance, he escorted General Wedge Antilles and Red Flight to the planet Adumar to negotiate the planet's entry into the New Republic. Salaban and his crew remained neutral during the brief civil war due to Intelligence Sector Head Tomer Darpen's comm blackout order. After the formation of the Adumari Union, Salaban participated in the Battle of Adumar against the Imperial Remnant.
