Garment-fabricator were machines used to produce clothing measured to match the wearer's size. One such machine owned by Moff Wilhuff Tarkin was equipped with several laser readers which took and measured his measurements. The fabricator was connected to a holotable that projected a life-size hologram of him. Tarkin used this garment fabricator to produce a tailored Imperial officer's uniform prior to Berch Teller's campaign.
