Gandolo IV was a location where, by 3 ABY, the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca had attempted to build a secret Wookiee colony. Their efforts were thwarted by the Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk, who almost succeeded in capturing the pair to claim the bounty on their heads.
