During the Galactic Civil War, he visited the planet Garnib on a surprise inspection tour. While on the planet, he was the target of an assassination attempt led by an Anti-Imperial movement on the planet due to his role in capturing and executing high-ranking officials from the Garnib Crystal Corporation. He was also confronted by his twin brother, who had been informed of his brother's existence by a dying relative.
