Having learned of the sighting of Fett, Princess Leia Organa recruited a group of spacers to crew the Millennium Falcon, Solo's YT-1300 light freighter, so that they could follow up on the lead and search for Solo.
In the new Star Wars canon, Gall was first mentioned in the 2016 Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Roleplaying supplement, Friends Like These. Gall originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was a moon first mentioned in X-Wing: Rogue Squadron, a 1996 novel written by Michael A. Stackpole.
