Fusion disk

A fusion disk was a small device which had a small charge attached to it. When the disk made contact with another surface, the charge ignited, causing the disk to fuse itself to any metallic surface. Fusion disks were used by power harpoon launchers to allow tugs and airspeeders to two cargo modules and skiffs.

Commander Beryl Chiffonage devised a tactic that was used by the Rebel Alliance to trip the All Terrain Armored Transports that utilized tow cables attached to fusion disks.
