Following his death in 23 BBY, the Jedi Padawan Asajj Ventress cremated Narec's body and held a funeral for her master, Jedi Knight Ky Narec, on the planet Rattatak. At the funeral, Ventress cried at the loss of her master.
When Dooku, a Sith Lord, sent his apprentice Asajj Ventress to find his sister Jenza at Carannia Spaceport, he insisted Ventress take the Windrunner airship. While there, Narec's voice claimed to have been at the funeral.
