Fremond III was home to a Rebel Alliance cell during the Galactic Civil War. In 2 ABY, the Rebels were caught during an attempt to infiltrate Prefect Glaffold's government offices. Most of them were then killed or captured during the siege of a fortified warehouse by Imperial forces.
