The Forge was a workshop used by Mandalorian Armorers to shape the Mandalorian steel, also known as beskar. It was the heart of the Mandalorian culture, and could reveal weaknesses and memories of the past.
The Armorer used a workshop in 9 ABY within the Mandalorian covert on the Outer Rim planet Nevarro. Using the cryo-furnace and her many tools within the workshop, such as a gravity hammer and magnetic tongs, the Armorer constructed Mandalorian armor and whistling birds.
The covert, including the workshop within, was left abandoned following the massacre of the Tribe members. Some time later, what remained of the workshop was taken over by Aqualish thieves. The thieves were promptly vanquished when they were attacked by Cara Dune, the acting marshal of Nevarro, leaving the workshop vacant once more.
Sometime later, the Armorer set a new workshop in a covert on Glavis Ringworld, where she reforged a beskar spear into Grogu's armor. She later moved her workshop to another covert on a different planet. Mandalore contained a special forge known as the Great Forge.
