A force bridge was a type of force field generated to provide a pathway across open space, similar in function and appearance to a plasma bridge. The Citadel of Rur featured a force bridge that provided access to the fortress's central computer core which held the records of the Ordu Aspectu.
Chelli Lona Aphra activated the force bridge in the Citadel while exploring its ruins with her father Korin Aphra in 0 ABY, allowing the pair to reach the computer core, though she destroyed the control panel, deactivating the bridge, to prevent snowtrooper squads from pursuing. The bridge was reactivated to allow Captain Magna Tolvan and her troops across, and deactivated once more to cut off pursuing droids.
