Foodboards, also spelled "food-boards," were used in Dexter Jettster's restaurant on the planet Coruscant, Dex's Diner, before the establishment was destroyed in 19 BBY. Sliders were served on top of grilled, trans-shipped, medium-density food-boards.
Kal Skirata served sliced foodboard to the young Null ARC troopers in his quarters on Kamino. In his opinion, it looked "less appetizing than the tray" it was on.
