Fiarok was a Nautolan diplomat who led the Nautolan peace delegation during the Republic Era. At that time, the Anselmi–Nautolan war had come to a ceasefire with a treaty set to end the conflict. To support that treaty, Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum decided to release the Hope of Glee Anselm, an artifact of both species, to both the Nautolan and Aselmi delegations at a ceremony on Jaloria. In secret, however, Fiarok was approached by the Mirialan Huijari, an agent who served Count Dooku. Unaware of Dooku's true identity and just knowing the Mirialan was working on behalf of a benefactor, Fiarok agreed to a plot to steal the statue and swapped it with a fake. He then further hired a crew of Nautolan theives to steal the fake.
At the ceremony, where Fiarok was accompanied by two associates and stood alongside an Anselmi representative and Governor Tok from the Galactic Republic, the artifact was presented and then stolen by the thieves, threatening to bring Glee Anselm back to war, all while Fiarok kept the real statue in his own guest quarters. Fiarok was later present, alongside the Anselmi, when the Republic official hired the bounty hunter Jango Fett to retrieve it. When Fett revealed the truth, Fiarok tried to reveal the wider conspiracy but failed to convince the Republic.
