Fertility droids were a type of droid. Before Luke Skywalker was brought to them by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Beru and Owen Lars learned that they would not be able to have children of their own and considered their only chance of having kids was to start seeing one of the fertility droids in Mos Eisley.
