A group of mercenaries operated some time before the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY. The group used the orbital facility Azzameen Station—designated "Falcon's Nest" under mercenary control—as their base of operations as they worked against the forces of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The mercenary group was eventually removed from Falcon's Nest by a joint effort between the Alliance Fleet and the space station's former owners, the Azzameen family.
