During the New Republic Era, the Bokken Jedi Ezra Bridger built a new blue-bladed lightsaber with the help of Huyang in order to replace his previous green-bladed one which he had gifted to his friend, Sabine Wren.
The lightsaber that Ezra Bridger built after his years of exile featured a design similar to the lightsaber that belonged to his master, Kanan Jarrus, something that Bridger did intentionally as he tried to honor his master by replicating said design despite being in a rush. Containing a blue kyber crystal, the lightsaber also featured the same type of emitter shroud that Jarrus' lightsaber had, as Huyang gave it to Bridger, saying that he originally kept it for his master back when he was a Padawan in case he ever needed to replace it.
After being reunited with Sabine and Ahsoka Tano on Peridea, Ezra built his new lightsaber in a hurry aboard Ahsoka's ship using pieces stored by Huyang. In their attempt to stop Thrawn's return to the known galaxy, Bridger used his new saber to dispatch Night Troopers and a zombified Death Trooper.
Ezra's third lightsaber first appeared in "Part Eight: The Jedi, the Witch, and the Warlord," the final episode of the 2023 television series Ahsoka, released on October 3, 2023.
