Before the High Republic Era, the Evereni put their trust in their stormy homeworld of Everon in an attempt to live in harmony with nature; however, the Great Storm came, in the form of a vortex storm that rose from the planet's core bringing strong winds and lightning, destroying the native Evereni's civilization.
A series of centuries-long conflicts in the aftermath were fought among the Evereni for the remaining resources following the Great Storm. This brought the Evereni to near-extinction, forcing those who survived to flee the planet around 500 BBY and become the Wanderers.
