Eom Nia was a Human male non-commissioned officer who lived on Naboo during the Galactic Civil War. By the time of the Battle of Yavin, Nia was holding the rank of sergeant and resided in Kaadara.
In 1 ABY, Sergeant Eom Nia undertook the supervision of a young cadet who had started officer training with Antom Moria on Tansarii Point Station, and then with Ellis Arrison on Tatooine. In order to train the cadet in leading soldiers into battle, Sergeant Nia ordered his trainee to attack the Mummer Cave in the Gallo Mountains and kill a number of Mummers. The cadet eventually returned successful from the mission.
Eom Nia was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. Eom Nia was added to the game upon the release of the "Publish 25," a.k.a. the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
