EVS-6962 was an EVS Construction Droid that was active on Coruscant shortly after Rogue Squadron helped bring the planet under New Republic rule. Under the supervision of Wedge Antilles, EVS-6962 uncovered a secret Imperial Interrogation Center during its routine tear-down assignment. This was later discovered to have been built by Emperor Palpatine to test prisoners for Force-sensitivity, as it contained several Force detectors that Luke Skywalker used during his search for new Jedi.
