Droid remote controls were devices used to remotely activate droids. The crimelord Cikatro Vizago used them to control his IG-RM bodyguard and enforcer droids. After the pirate Hondo Ohnaka stunned him and captured his starship Broken Horn, Ohnaka took the remote control. After meeting the pirate, rebel Ezra Bridger stole the remote control. After freeing Vizago as part of a deal, Vizago was able to regain it and take back his ship.
Droid remote controls first appeared in the Star Wars Rebels episode "Brothers of the Broken Horn."
