Dragonets were reptile creatures native to the planet Tatooine. Sometimes compared to young krayt dragons, they were often found in lairs made of bones.
During the Galactic Civil War, Jabba the Hutt's cook, Porcellus, used to cook dragonet flanks for his master. In 1 ABY, Imperial Custodial Officer Pfilbee Jhorn tasked a spacer to eliminate dragonets prowling around the trash compactors in Bestine.
Dragonets appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. In the game, the dragonets had the same appearance than the dune lizards, the scyks and the rills.
