Dool was a Human male officer of the Corellian Security Force who lived on Corellia during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Sometimes after the Battle of Yavin, Captain Dool worked in Coronet City when Sheelya, the wife of one of his men, reported troubles with Greck criminals. Dool therefore began to investigate the Greck and tasked a spacer to retrieve a CorSec dossier with information about Greck that was stolen by the Chirq Council. The CorSec captain later requested the help of his friend Lyman Zavala, a city councilmen in Tyrena to continue his investigation.
Dool appears in the directory tree files for the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. According to these files, introduced with the "Publish 28," on April 26, 2006, Dool would have been present in Coronet and involved with a quest named "Captain Dool." However, he is not known to have appeared on the game's live servers as a proper non-player character. Nevertheless, an emulated depiction pulled from this character's Interchange File Format reveals what he would have looked like if he were added to the game.
